There is a feeling we get at the end of every single year. It’s a rush, in a way it is violent, because intense in nature. Something detaches from us and whether in a joyful or nostalgic way, a part of us dies with the year that passes. As I was thinking of how to theme our NYE party, whilst protecting how possible the house furniture I must admit, I came up with this idea. The crime scene of the ended year. In retrospect, this was the last NYE before the World came to know the COVID-19 lockdowns as if somehow I had predicted that life would be very different for a while and thus, we were saying goodbye to life as we knew it.
